I was thrilled to work with one of my closest friends on her kitchen remodel this Winter. She loves pairing blue and white together, so we started by selecting a delft style backsplash, and paired it with a wall paint color reminiscent of the delicate tones found in her porcelain china. The white appliances and existing light stained wood cabinets captured her love of the 80's and 90's style.  We adjusted the cabinetry slightly to accommodate a dishwasher, and encased the free-standing refrigerator with new matching wood panels for a more built-in design. We replaced the floor with a beautiful limestone tile in a brick pattern, and enlarged the existing telephone niche, and cased it with the house trim. Finally, we chose a quartz color for the countertop that matched the floor so we could highlight the backsplash tile .
